On 16 September 2026, Pawnzon organised Pawnzon Charity Run 2026: RUN FOR HOPE at Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam in conjunction with Malaysia Day.

The event was more than just a charity run. It was an initiative to bring together our community, employees, partners and supporters to contribute towards those in need.

With the support of everyone involved, RUN FOR HOPE 2026 successfully raised a total of RM15,000, with RM5,000 contributed to each beneficiary welfare home.

More Than Just a Run

RUN FOR HOPE was created as a community initiative to support local welfare homes and those in need.

For every paid ticket, RM15 was allocated towards the charity fund.

• Yayasan Sunbeams Home
• Rumah Amal Asnaf Al-Barakh
• Rumah Kebajikan RITA

Each welfare home received a contribution of RM5,000, bringing the total contribution to RM15,000.

To us, this amount represents more than just a number. It reflects every registration, every step taken and every show of support from the community throughout RUN FOR HOPE 2026.

Participants’ Safety Came First

On the day of the event, haze conditions were found to be less favourable and could potentially affect participants’ health.

To protect the safety and well-being of everyone involved, the organisers made the decision to close the 3KM category in order to reduce participants’ exposure to unhealthy air conditions.

Although it was not an easy decision, the health and safety of our participants always remained our priority.

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation with the changes that had to be made on the day.

For Pawnzon, RUN FOR HOPE was not only about completing a run, but also about making sure that everyone who took part in the event remained safe and well.

The Spirit of RUN FOR HOPE Continued

Despite the changes to the programme caused by the haze, the spirit of RUN FOR HOPE remained strong.

Participants, family members, employees, sponsors, partners and supporters came together to be part of the event and support its meaningful purpose.

Throughout the day, visitors also had the opportunity to enjoy various activities, carnival booths, food and beverages, and lucky draws.

The energy and support shown by everyone made RUN FOR HOPE 2026 a truly meaningful experience for us.

RM15,000 to Bring Hope

Through RUN FOR HOPE 2026, a total of RM15,000 was successfully raised, with each welfare home receiving a contribution of RM5,000.

This contribution was made possible through the collective efforts of all participants and everyone who supported the campaign and event.

We are also truly grateful for everyone’s patience and understanding regarding the changes made because of the haze conditions.
