A: A pawn is another term for collateral loan. We lend money on items of value ranging from Gold, Diamond, Silver, and Rolex Watches. Loans are based on the value of the pawned item. The loan period is 6 months and DAILY interest at an interest rate of not more than 2% per month of the total pawn amount.
A: Your valuables will be assessed by a trained Valuer. Then, a pawn amount will be given in cash based on current market rates. Once the pawn amount is agreed upon, our Data Operator will record your information, and a pawn ticket will be issued. Pawn tickets are used for future transactions with our pawn shops (E.g – paying interest, redeeming pawned valuable, etc).

A: All individuals aged 18 years (after D.O.B) and above with a valid I/C or Passport.
A: There is a RM0.50 fee for each pawn ticket issued. Besides that, no other hidden costs or extra charges.
A: 6 months from the pawn date or after being issued a new ticket renewal. (Example: Pawn Date = 2 January 2020, Due Date = 1 July 2020)
A: After your due date, we will notify you via SMS, Call, or mail to extend the loan period to an additional 30 days. You do not have to pay the full amount at once; you can pay interest only; or you can pay in instalments. Each instalment extends the holding period for another six (6) months. If you fail to renew your pledge or redeem your item after six months and 30 days extension, your item will then be publicly auctioned.
A: Yes, you can pay by instalments anytime within the 6 months duration. A new pawn ticket will be issued, with the new loan amount.
A: Yes, we can help you re-evaluate your pawned valuable to the latest market price.
A: IPT is Inter Pawnshop Transfer, which we will help to send renewal to the original shop.
A: First, we advise you to call our pawn shop to lock your pawned item in case of others using it. We can issue a DUPLICATE pawn ticket for you without charges. If you want to redeem your item or renew your pawn ticket; the Owner is required to be physically present for the renewal process. In case of sending a representative, the owner is required to write a letter of oath with confidence and in accordance with the Statutory Declarations Act, 1960.
